The Hampstead Course

 

This course comprises a series of six two hour workshops culminating in a visit to various houses/museums in Hampstead. You will be introduced in each session to the architecture of one house and artwork displayed in it, where possible learning by making comparisons and referring to previous learning. In groups, you will study and discuss the architecture and paintings in detail. Facilitated by your tutor, you will become your own expert on the architecture and paintings studied. Your knowledge and understanding will then be tested on a walking tour of Hampstead in the final week.

Length: Over seven weeks (six two hour sessions in  a Bucks venue ; one dayin Hampstead  with a break for lunch)
