Roger Thomson MA (Cantab) was awarded
a history degree by the University of
Cambridge and subsequently a Post Graduate
Certificate of Education by the University of
Exeter, becoming a teacher of humanities
specialising in history, religious studies, politics and law.
He has been regularly graded outstanding in his lesson delivery by OFSTED standards, his students making excellent progress in their learning through active methods.
He has had a passion for history of art since visiting Florence when at school and being bowled over by the Renaissance works of art and architecture found throughout that city. He has a Post Graduate Certificate in History of Art and Architecture from the University of London (Birkbeck College) having specialised in the Florentine Renaissance, Roman Baroque and English Modernism.
